The following requirements must be met in order to use this Web site:
- Use a version 4 (or higher) browser, which supports Style Sheets
- Enable JavaScript in your browser
- Allow the use of "Cookies" (a cookie is a piece of information, stored on your local hard disk)
Unfortunately, different browsers display the same information sometimes in a slightly different way, although so-called "standards" exist. We have tried to optimize this application so that the visual appearance is comparable in at least the commonly used browsers. Extensive tests have been performed with Microsoft Internet Explorer (versions 5.0x, 5.5x and 6.0x), Netscape Navigator (versions 4.6, 4.7 and 6.2), and Opera (versions 5.x and 6.0x), all on a Windows platform. Below are some remarks about these browsers:
 Microsoft Internet Explorer
Best results have been obtained with all tested versions of the Microsoft Internet Explorer. This browser is recommended to be used.
 Netscape Navigator version 4.x
The tested 4.x versions of the Netscape browser are causing many problems, for example, it is not possible to print the DevTox text pages (for what ever reasons), several items are not shown exactly positioned, and from time to time (but not reproducible), Netscape 4.7 crashed. It is therefore recommended to upgrade to Netscape version 6.x or to the MS Internet Explorer.
 Netscape Navigator version 6.x
The results obtained with Netscape version 6.2.1 are comparable to the MS Internet Explorer, however, the execution of JavaScript code seems to be slower. This browser can be recommended as a good alternative to the MS Internet Explorer.
 Opera
Opera versions 5.x do not work, Opera 6.01 is very slow in executing the JavaScript code, version 6.03 seems to be better and can be used.
